Brophy 2012

Let’s shake this up a little today.  Here’s my favorite project of the year — our family yearbook, a strange compilation of photos from sessions with my family to the best of our collective iphone efforts. Disney Dreams

I shared a photo and story on my Facebook page, with a link to my friends at Mouse Tales Travel, and they featured it on their blog yesterday. Very cool. I highly recommend you give them a call when planning your next Disney vacation.

A couple of people asked me about the Disney Jars. I just got the smooth Mason jars at Michaels, and some coordinating stickers and ribbon. If I were a cooler mom (like my sister), I would have let Rachel make her own, but I made these myself, putting my perfectionist personality on full display, and wrapped them up for Christmas.

As a Christmas gift for my mom, Rachel and I made her a photo book from our Disney trip. I decided to forgo carrying photo gear on the trip, and simply brought my Canon G10 point-and-shoot. I wanted to test a new company for a photo book and selected Picaboo. (Truth be told, I had a great coupon from Groupon — my other new internet find/problem.) I was really impressed with Picaboo and their robust and flexible designs tools, and I highly recommend them for the creation of personal photo scrapbooks. (They have a sale going on right now too… Get 20% Off + Free Shipping on Classic Books and Calendars until January 17th. Use Code: HNY20FS)

Enough of all that, here’s our 2010 Disney World Book.
