I am now pleased to share a slideshow with more of the photos of the day. April & Jim met as members of the Corpus Christi Church choir, and it was during a regular church service that they were married, and their two families joined. The backyard reception was beautiful and fun! It was a privilege to be a part of this celebration.
PS. And yes, for a woman who says “I don’t do weddings!”, I’ve had my hands full with them lately, all for special friends. And I will confess, I truly love them. So now my answer is a heartfelt “YES! Bring them on!”
What a beautiful evening we had for Marcy and Nolan’s engagement session on Sunday night. With the countdown on for their October wedding, we spent some quiet time together. I’ve known Marcy for 7 years as my son’s swim coach, and I am so honored that she wants me to be a part of her special day. It was great to get to know Nolan and spend some time with their sweet Simba, especially since she can’t be with us on the big day.
I had the honor of photographing April & Jim and their three beautiful children as they celebrated their marriage today as part of the morning service at Spiritus Christi Church, and then adjourned to their lovely home for some family photos and a lovely party of family and friends..jpg)
