Flashback Friday | Rochester Family Photographer

I’m starting to get inquiries for Fall family sessions, and I’ll have the October schedule up and running by August 5th. Really, truly, I will. It seemed only fitting to pick an image from last Fall’s Mini Sessions, to get folks in the mood for some fall color. I’m afraid that it’s just around the corner.

This is Simon.  I loved photographing his family, and I am so sad they have moved to Colorado. While I’ve never shared their images on the blog, I do have an amazing sample album in the studio from their session, and every time clients get to the page with this photo, they smile HUGE. I’ll post more from the session later this week when I post details for this fall’s sessions.  In the meanwhile, send me an email using the CONTACT link above and I’ll send you more info.

Flashback Friday | Cananadaigua Senior Portraits

A very special Class of 2010 graduate.  I loved working with Lauryn, as I did her big sis Kristen.  I LOVE their family — such good, sweet people.

Flashback Friday {with best wishes to the CA Lax Team today!}

I missed last week!  And didn’t get called out on it.  I’m not sure if that’s good news or bad news.

This Flashback Friday photo of the beautiful Bailey was chosen with a purpose today.  I wanted to let her know that I’m thinking of the CA girls lacrosse team today as they compete in Cortland in the semi-finals of the state championship.  Go CA!!!  Bring it home.  Here’s the article in the Messenger: http://www.mpnnow.com/sports/x669149726/Its-on-CA-ready-for-Final-Four-run.

I’m also really psyched to have several of her teammates scheduled already from the Class of 2011.  June is now totally booked and we’ve got July about half filled.  Be in touch soon to schedule if you haven’t already.  It’s shaping up to be an awesome summer.

A reminder re Flasback Fridays…. On Fridays in 2010, I am posting an image or two from a past session.  They could be as recent as the week before or from 2006, my first year in business.  No names will be provided, but if you spot yourself or your kiddo in the Friday Flashback, drop me a quick email to claim a complementary 8×10 of the image and a gift certificate for $50 toward a future session for yourself or to pass along to family or friends.  Be sure to check back every week, as you must be in touch before the next Friday to qualify for the photo and certificate (that email needs to reach me by midnight on Thursday).  You can check the blog or check Laura Brophy Photography Page on Facebook.  To have it the page feed into your Facebook news, simply click on the LIKE button on the page.

And what if I don’t post on a Friday?  The first person to email me with a friendly reminder on Saturday receives a $50 gift certificate toward a session for their immediate family’s use.  (Sorry, this one can’t be passed along.)  You are only eligible to receive this award once in 2010.

A few details to keep in mind: Only one certificate may be redeemed per session.  The certificate must be used within 1 year from the Flashback Friday in which the image appeared and may be applied towards a wedding, family or senior session.  There will be few “black out” special mini session dates for which you may not apply the Flashback Friday certificate. Those will be noted when posted.  Certificates may not be sold and have no cash value.

Flashback Friday dates are determined by the posting date on the BLOG.  The feed to Facebook varies and is not in my control.  So check the blog to catch me on a Friday!
