While I’ve been on hiatus from client work, I’ve enjoyed the extra time with the special kids in my life. Here’s my buddy Caleb enjoying life and with one special little friend.
Monthly Archives: April 2008
We have had the most glorious spring weather, earlier and warmer than one could ever hope. Here we have a squirrel in Mendon Ponds Park and a trout lily near a stream bed in Cheshire.
I am pleased to announce the launch of a new site exclusively for Senior Portraits and to officially begin scheduling appointments for the Class of 2009. Availability is limited, so schedule your appointment soon to ensure a spot. Please also inquire about our spring special for senior sessions completed in May and June to take advantage of special pricing on the session and prints. Click on image to enter site.
Perfection.
So often we look for perfection in our images. Perfect smile. Perfect hair. Honestly, I think it is overrated. In the end, the images that speak to me most are the real ones. The quirky expressions. The goofy cowlics (a specialty of my family). I’ve had the opportunity to pour though all our family photos in recent weeks, and it is the real photos, the honest photos, that give me greatest pleasure. I am as guilty as the rest of looking for the perfect smiling photos of my family, but at the end of the day, I believe that these honest photos are the ones that will fill our hearts and help us to tell our stories.
Please forgive my silence. I’ll try to catch up over the next several days, and let me start with sweet, sweet Stella. She joined our family two weeks ago. Here she is today at 11 weeks, playing at the pond behind Grandma and Grandpa’s house.
