Atlanta Sessions {April 25 & 26}

delilah-166-editLaura Brophy Photography is Atlanta bound for a weekend of family and children sessions. Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, are reserved for my Atlanta friends, family and fans. Make it an early Mother’s Day present for yourself!!!

Availability is very limited, and appointments will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. This will be an on-location weekend, with sessions held at your home, a park or other fun setting. Rain or shine, we’ll make it work and capture the magic of your family.

The session fee and rates for the Atlanta sessions are the prevailing Laura Brophy Photography rates, with a family session fee of $125 for up to four family members. Each additional family member is $25 extra. Prints are additional and may be purchased in collections (starting at $500) or a la carte (with gift prints starting at $25 for a 5×7).

To reserve an Atlanta session, a retainer of $275 is requested, with $125 covering the session fee and $150 reserved for you as a print credit to apply to your order of a collection or prints.

This kid cracks me up. She has 101 ways to avoid the camera, but the strawberries were a stroke of genius. I almost fell over laughing when she pulled that one.

These images were a quick play with a borrowed 85mm f/1.2 lens. The lens is as yummy as everyone says. More images to follow. I’m going to be dreaming about this one.

Class of 2009 Assembled

Geez, I love my photographer friends and the great ideas and finds they share on Facebook, their blogs, and online forums.  Angela Calderon (a very cool children’s photographer in Atlanta!) shared this collage maker tonight, and the playing has just begun.  Check it out: http://www.vincentcheung.ca/shapecollage/.  You pick your photos, shapes, the text, and voila! A collage.  As soon as I saw it I realized it was the solution to how to display my seniors in the studio.  Here is the Class of 2009, assembled Laura Brophy style.
