Hi there, Canandaigua Seniors!
Lots of questions!!!! So there’s been quite a bit of buzz about the second photo that can now appear in the yearbook. As you can imagine, this is causing some problems for photographers, especially because there are no known specifications at this time. And the yearbook deadline is in 5 days
All Canandaigua Seniors get one yearbook photo included with your session package. That image is a head shot per CA’s specifications (2 1/8 by 2 1/2 with a 1 1/4 head size measured from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin). I have all those orders in place or I’ve been in touch with you if we still need your selection.
Any second shot you elect to submit to the yearbook is your responsibility and you must be sure you have printing rights to submit it.
- If you purchased a DIGITAL COLLECTION with the full-resolution digital files, you are free to select one and submit it to CA.
- If you have the small, watermarked FACEBOOK E-PIC that accompanied a print order, those images are NOT licensed for printing and should not be submitted for the yearbook. I have asked the yearbook staff to reject those images.
If you did not purchase digital rights with your order and you would like to submit a second shot from your session, I am making them available now, with a $15 fee to cover the extra time and handling for these images. You will receive a medium-sized 5×7 300ppi file for use in the yearbook. But the use will not be restricted to the yearbook. You’ll have the license to print it up to a 5×7. That means you can use the image for grad announcements and reprints too! The file will be delivered to you by email, and again, it will be your responsibility to submit it to the yearbook.
If you know the image # you want, you can do a quick order here. Be sure to include the email address you want it to go to in the Comments field.
If you need me to open your gallery back up, please send me an email at laura.brophy@gmail.com.
Thanks!
