Last night was the Mercy Senior Ball. I am quite sure that Will would have preferred I stay away from the photo fest, but Sarah was most welcoming, as always. They looked beautiful, and the location was spectacular… a lovely house overlooking Irondequoit Bay and Lake Ontario.
For the big group shot, they were positioned in front of the sun and the lake. Totally difficult lighting, made all the funnier by the fact that the line of 24 kids totally obscured the lake anyway. Maybe with a ladder, we could have captured the whole scene.
But it was a beautiful night, and the kids were so fun and easy-going.
The march toward graduation continues for the Class of 2010, as seniors settle on colleges, scramble to meet deadlines, and eagerly await decisions. The Class of 2010 will always have a special place in my heart. Many of those I photographed are classmates, friends, and swimming colleagues of my son Will.
